Success!  It’s the only way to describe the “Taste of the Bay,” held 25 March, 2006 in partnership with the Tampa Bay Downs and Upper Tampa Bay Library Foundation a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization. This annual event supports the Upper Tampa Bay Library through the Foundation with a goal of adding another 10,000 square feet to the Upper Tampa Bay Library.  The participating restaurants of STARBUCKS Coffee, Hoppers Grille & Brewery, Cody’s Original Roadhouse, Jack Willies Tiki Bar & Grille, Hennessy Food & Spirits, and Alberto’s Italian Grille and Bar, Pipo’s, Jimbo’s Bar-B-Q and Mykonos Greek Restaurant did an outstanding job, thank you.  The Library Foundation wants to say THANK YOU to Ms Stella Thayer, Mr. Peter Berube and Ms Margo Flynn of the Tampa Bay Downs plus everyone else who came out to support the fun/successful event.  To help the foundation/contact it or make a donation go to www.UTBLF.Org  The event raised and the $24,125.07 was presented to the UTBLF April 29, 2006!  WOW!!!  Picture below.
